A little peak into the 2 week trip I took to my birthplace Jaipur, India & all that it entailed.

A Brief Moment of Solitary

The last few weeks have been hectic- I've finished all my exams, graduated high school, applied for jobs and university, dyed my hair, been rebellious, adjusted to the fact that now my life revolves around how I want to play it, and isn't restricted by school or those who go there, as we all know, I had a hard time dealing with what people would think. 

A getaway was much needed. Usually the ritual is to travel at the end of the year, or the beginning of a new one, but this time the tradition had to be readjusted to a few months prior. 

My family and I took a 3- day trip down south to Preston Beach, to a very (emphasis on very) isolated place that only around 2,000 people call home. 

We stayed in a beach house that was walkable distance to the ocean. 

The fresh wind, empty beach and quality time with my family was wholesome and I'm grateful to have experienced it. 

Weekend getaway

Life had got in the way and it was all getting a bit too much at a point. But a long weekend was coming up and so my parents decided that we all needed a little break. We booked a hotel, packed our bags and set out for a 200 km drive to Margaret River. It was a great way to relax and have some time away. We visited numerous vineries, chocolate factories and cheese factories, ate delicious food and slept in as much as we wanted ( i think I restored about 3 years worth of sleep).
The town was small, quite and isolated.
Highlight: Beaches.
The weather was gloomy, but we were determined to visit at least some of the tourist attractions, and so we made our way to some famous beaches and a few other small towns nearby. The beach was extraordinary. The clouds were grey, ready to cry at any moment, the waves were high and roaring with anger, the wind was hitting our faces, all of it combined, was a piece of art.

We also visited a small town called Witchcliffe (I don't even know if you would call it a town, it consisted of like 4 shops and around 10 houses) The name cracks me up so much. All the shops there were names after witchcraft and magic, and had halloween decorations all year around - I loved it!
Overall, it was a very relaxing 3 days and it was a great getaway from school. Being in a new environment and to refresh yourself, is really what you need sometimes.

Sydney, Canberra and Sivan

It's been a few months since I got back from my Sydney and Canberra trip from school. It was an alright time, definitely could've been better if some close friends went along with me, but it was a good get- away after the exams. We spent a day and a half in Sydney and 5 days in Canberra. Here are some pics I took in Sydney (I could've mixed up some of the artwork, as I don't remember if it was from the art museum in Sydney or Canberra). This trip made me realise how much I enjoy slowly walking through art galleries, examining each artwork, reading about the art and just taking it all in. It's very refreshing to me. Overall, I have to say that the art galleries we visited, in both Canberra and Sydney, have to be my highlight of the trip. 

I don't really have a lot to say other than that, I would talk about how the trip went and all but I don't know, it wasn't really that good and it's not worth the effort talking about something that you don't really want to relive or talk about. I went there, I stayed there, I came back. 

Ps. (another song recommendation) listen to 'Do you go up' by Khai, ahhh I'm loving his music right now. 

ALSO I went to the Troye Sivan concert last Saturday and holy crap was it the best thing I've done so far (besides the fact that people who I encountered were so bloody rude. I was kind of taken aback at how arrogant and up- themselves people at his concert were). I might make a little blogpost about it later (Update: probably not because I didn't take any pictures, only videos) but I WAS IN SECOND ROW AND I'M NOT OKAY (yes, I am a true fangirl. Let me live a little). Can I just say, that without a doubt he is the most beautiful person I've ever seen, he's unreal and god, his voice is magnificent (fave songs rn: Ease and Heaven). And also thank you to Caity and Aida for coming with me and waiting in line for 5 hours, appreciate you girls so much, Love you.

Singapore Travels (Day 2)

Yup I'm back and believe it or not it's only been a week since my lat upload... say whattt. Yeah I know, I'm being productive and all. Basically I just really wanted to share more pictures from my Singapore trip and so I'm back with part 2 of the Singapore adventures!
We visited the botanical gardens, the Night safari and went on a guided tour trip (very touristy).
